The Mysteries of the Lord's Supper

“And I will lift up the CUP OF SALVATION and bless the name of the Lord.” Did you ever know that giving thanks to the Lord was like slaying a lamb or offering a blood sacrifice? The Psalmist compares the lifting of our hands which is symbolic of thanksgiving to an evening sacrifice which is the Passover. Did you know that to give thanks to the Lord is like eating the Lord’s Supper or to call or invoke the blessings of the cross and the blood of Jesus? The cup of the Lord is the name of the Lord. Whoever calls upon him is saved, delivered, rescued from shame, pain and evil. Therefore, Revelations says: The blood of the Lamb attracts honour, fame, praise, dignity, prosperity. “In a loud voice they sang, "The lamb who was slain deserves to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and praise. "Yes, Paul cautions that giving false praise or praising God in an unworthy manner, that is, eating the Lord’s Supper, can cause irreversible sicknesses and deaths for the Lord’s Supper must be partaken with discernment and reverence.
